German regional aircraft manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft will utilise American Data Solutions’ (ADS) Technical Publication Management Solutions for the D328eco, its turboprop currently under development.
Deutsche Aircraft required a robust and scalable technical publication solution to ensure maintenance, operational support and compliance with global aviation standards, including S1000D.
ADS will provide an integrated and advanced suite of solutions and services, featuring the MDDC™ Content Management System (CMS) and the MDDV™ Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), complemented by dedicated support.
These tools directly link technical manuals with real-time aircraft maintenance, providing operators with access to the latest maintenance and operational techniques and advice, specific to their fleet or individual aircraft tail numbers.
ADS’s MDDC CMS suite will streamline the creation, storage, and distribution of Technical Publications, while the MDDV Class-6 IETM will provide D328eco operators worldwide with access to maintenance and operating procedures, backed by ADS’s support services to ensure timely responses and fleet availability.
“We are partnering with ADS to deliver technical data solutions for the D328eco,” said Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft. “Their CMS and IETM platforms, combined with their industry knowledge, will allow our customers to operate the D328eco® with efficiency and reliability. This partnership is a step in our aim to transform regional aviation.”
The 40-seater D328eco regional turboprop is based on the D328, offering improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and advanced avionics. The first test aircraft is scheduled to roll out at the end of May 2025, and entry into service is planned for late 2027.
LARA will be covering the D328eco rollout at Deutsche Aircraft’s base at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport on 28 May.
