Deutsche Aircraft has announced Aernnova as the empennage supplier for its D328eco regional turboprop at the Paris Air Show, securing its final primary structure partner for the aircraft’s serial production.
Aernnova will provide build-to-print assemblies, including the composite empennage, which contains horizontal and vertical stabilisers constructed with composite technologies, and the metallic tail cone.
The empennage assembly is a structural component of the D328eco, contributing to aerodynamic performance and flight stability.
Ricardo Chocarro, CEO of Aernnova, said the company’s contribution to the D328eco programme is built on over 30 years of experience in composite aircraft structures.
“We value this new partnership with Deutsche Aircraft and the opportunity to support a next-generation regional aircraft that combines versatility with an innovative design,” he said.
Nico Neumann, CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, said the agreement with Aernnova means that all primary structure suppliers are now secured. The D328eco programme is expected to enter service in Q4 2027.
