Destination Tampere Region has been announced as the first Gold sponsor of the inaugural LARA Global event.
LARA Global, the new global event dedicated to low-fare and regional aviation, will unite key international stakeholders from across the industry for a two-day conference in Canary Wharf, London, next May.
Destination Tampere Region, associated with the Business Tampere and Visit Tampere initiatives, provides a gateway to inland Finland. The region’s airport welcomes Ryanair, SAS, Finnair and AirBaltic, with direct flights from Bremen, Budapest and Riga or connections via Helsinki and Stockholm.
Tampere is the biggest inland city in Scandinavia. It is located between two vast lakes Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi, and as such is often referred to as the Lake City. Tampere is the perfect mixture of urban, nature, fun places and activities, with an abundance of cultural events, festivals and theatre! LARA Global 2019 will take place on 16–17 May 2019 in London, just ten minutes from London City Airport. The East Wintergarden venue offers a truly unique setting in the famous Canary Wharf business district, within easy access of the capital’s major landmarks and transport hubs. Nestled among the estate’s iconic towers, the state-of-the-art venue boasts a striking domed glass atrium, offering glorious natural daylight and panoramic views of the London skyline.
