C&L Aviation Services, part of the C&L Aviation Group, has installed Starlink connectivity on an Embraer ERJ 140 following the amendment of its existing ERJ 135/145 STC (supplemental type certificate). The company partnered with Aerospace Design & Compliance LLC to acquire the new STC.
“Developing this STC and installing Starlink on ERJ aircraft points C&L in the right direction for future connectivity support,” said Charlie Carrol, Avionics Sales Manager for C&L Aviation Services. “Starlink is gaining traction in the aviation world, and we at C&L look forward to growing our relationship with them.”
Starlink, powered by SpaceX, provides in-flight connectivity via a low-earth orbit satellite constellation that enables smooth gaming, streaming, and communication on personal devices.
