Britten-Norman, the UK-based manufacturer of the Islander aircraft, has introduced an brokerage and trade-in service to provide operators with comprehensive support for the full lifecycle of their fleets and a smoother path to fleet modernisation.
The new programme is designed to simplify the process of upgrading for operators looking to modernise. Britten-Norman will manage the sale, trade-in, or refurbishment of existing aircraft, allowing operators to take delivery of new Islanders with minimal disruption to their operations.
Crucially, the service ensures continuous operational capability, as existing aircraft can remain in service until the new deliveries are ready.
This “seamless, OEM-managed transition” is supported by Britten-Norman’s technical expertise, access to OEM records, and a global sales network capable of assisting with worldwide import/export processes.
Charlotte Britton, Head of Sales at Britten-Norman, said: “Operators want a straightforward way to refresh their fleets with minimal disruption. Our brokerage and trade-in service ensures customers can advance to the next generation of Islanders while keeping existing aircraft in service until the new ones are ready, making the process efficient and fully managed by Britten-Norman.”
