Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has continued its partnership with low-fare carrier Ryanair for another year.
The renewed contract, which will come into effect from 1 April 2023, means that BGS will provide Ryanair with into-plane fuelling at three airports: Vilnius and Palanga airports in Lithuania, and Leoš Janáček airport in the Czech Republic.
The renewal is an extension of a more than seven-year relationship between the two companies. The most recent update took place in December 2022, when BGS and Ryanair extended a partnership agreement for into-plane fuelling at Riga International Airport, Latvia, for one year.
Steven Fitzgerald, Head of Sustainability at Ryanair, said: “As an industry leader, we hope for nothing but the best from our chosen partners. BGS meets our highest standards and expectations and has been delivering exceptional fuelling services since we first began the cooperation. We are thrilled to continue working with them and look forward to further strengthening our partnership.”
Vitalis Dudys, BGS Group Head of Commerce, commented: “Since the beginning of the partnership with Ryanair, our focus on quality, safety and client needs has formed the bedrock of our collaboration. We are elated that an industry-leading airline sees us as a reliable and experienced partner.”
