Irish aircraft leasing company Avolon has completed the delivery of five new Airbus A321neos to Turkish Airlines.

The company now has eight aircraft on lease with the Turkish flag carrier. The second delivery of this order took place in November 2022.

In its Q3 2022 presentation, the company said that it owned and managed a fleet of 568 aircraft, with commitments for a further 265 fuel-efficient aircraft.

Avolon’s President and Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Geaney, said that the leasing company was delighted to work with Turkish Airlines and support them “as they continue the expansion of their network to service the strong recovery they are experiencing in passenger demand.”
