Türkiye-based Atlantic Flight Academy (AFA) has officially signed a contract with Simnest Aviation for a Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator.
The deal follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the European Aviation Training Summit and marks a significant expansion of AFA’s training infrastructure.
The new device is scheduled for installation at AFA’s Istanbul base in the second quarter of 2026. Once operational, it will support the academy’s advanced training curriculum, specifically targeting:
- APS MCC Courses: Enhancing Multi-Crew Cooperation training to airline pilot standards.
- MPL Programs: Supporting specific phases of Multi-Crew Pilot License programs.
- Competency Development: Bridging the gap between initial flight training and the complexities of a commercial airline cockpit.
The Istanbul-based simulator will function as a strategic demonstration platform, acting as a regional hub to showcase Simnest’s technology to other operators across Türkiye and neighboring regions.
Simnest specialises in high-realism Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 simulators which replicate aircraft performance with enough precision to secure training contracts with major carriers including Wizz Air, Norwegian, and Brussels Airlines.
