Aircraft broker Jetcraft Commercial has delivered a third DHC Dash 8-400 turboprop to Asman Airlines, Kyrgyzstan’s newly-launched state-owned regional airline in a significant step in the carrier’s mission to build air connectivity across the country.
Asman Airlines plans to deploy this aircraft to introduce new domestic routes, particularly between remote communities and the capital city, Bishkek. The expansion is “crucial for supporting economic growth and mobility throughout the nation”.
“The Dash 8-400’s capabilities align perfectly with Kyrgyzstan’s operational landscape and Asman Airlines’ strategic objectives for regional connectivity. We are proud to play a role in the launch and growth of Asman Airlines,” said Raphael Haddad, President of Jetcraft Commercial.
Zholdosh Aidaraliev, Director General of Asman Airlines, said Jetcraft had been “instrumental in helping us take off”.
“Their expertise and support were vital in identifying the ideal aircraft to give us access to key regions from Manas International Airport, thereby supporting economic growth and mobility across Kyrgyzstan,” he said.
