Arajet and Boeing have partnered to provide a course on Line Maintenance, Engineering and Quality as part of a series of training programmes for young technicians and aeronautical engineers.

The training focuses on the 737 MAX and is the first in a series of courses that combine theory and practice. Twenty-four young people participated in the programme, with a focus from the airline to provide up-and-coming aviation professionals with the necessary tools for growth.

“For Arajet, being the Dominican flag airline is to contribute and positively impact the growth and sustainability and to achieve it, we firmly believe that the transfer of knowledge is necessary in all areas of the aeronautical industry,” said Arajet’s CEO and founder Víctor Pacheco Méndez.

The course took place at Arajet’s facility in Santo Domingo and is the second training programme that Boeing has delivered on the 737 MAX, which currently represents the airline’s fleet of 10 aircraft.
