De Havilland Aircraft of Canada has announced it has signed a letter of intent with All Nippon Airways (ANA) for seven refurbished Dash 8-400 aircraft.
The aircraft will be reconfigured to reflect ANA Group’s current fleet of Dash 8-400s and will extend their in-service life. According to De Havilland Canada, the seven Dash 8-400s acquired by ANA Group will be integrated into the fleet in the “coming years” and will form part of its wider commitment to developing and maintaining the Dash 8 family.
“We are pleased to continue to support ANA Group in providing outstanding customer service to their passengers and customers,” said Ryan DeBrusk, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for De Havilland Canada.
De Havilland Canada’s DHC OEM Certified Refurbishment Program was announced on Day 1 of the Farnborough Airshow. The purchase of DHC-certified refurbished aircraft marks a “significant first step” towards supporting the Dash 8 programme, which aims to meet the growing customer demand for mid-life aircraft.
