AMETEK MRO Asia has announced that it is becoming a Honeywell Authorised Repair Centre (ARC) for Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS).

“We will deliver 100% OEM licensed and 100% OEM trained customer support for these critical TCAS units, which are anticipated to see a significant increase in repair requirements over the coming years,” said David Corish, Divisional Vice President of AMETEK MRO Asia. “Honeywell has confidence in our OEM-trained technicians and our extensive history of customer support. Importantly, as a channel partner, AMETEK MRO has the licence for all future software upgrades and this will ensure sufficient capacity to support customers, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.”

The system monitors aircraft proximity and alerts the cockpit when other aircraft breach the separation regulations. AMETEK’s agreement will last 10 years and allows the MRO to repair TPA100 series systems fitted to A320, A330, A340, B737, B737NG, B737MAX, B747, B757, B767, and B777 aircraft. AMETEK will also provide testing services and global customer support.

“We are pleased to partner with AMETEK MRO Asia as an Authorised Repair Centre for our Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems,” commented Eric Ai, Vice President, Airlines Asia-Pacific at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. “This agreement not only reinforces our commitment to delivering cutting-edge safety solutions but also enhances support for our customers across the Asia-Pacific region. We are confident that this collaboration will meet the growing demands of the aviation industry and ensure the highest standards of operational safety.”

This latest partnership is the third support agreement signed between AMETEK MRO Asia and Honeywell over two years.
