Low-fare airline Allegiant has announced seven new routes that will launch this autumn, including a brand-new destination: Fort Myers in Florida.
The new routes are from Fort Myers are to Allentown, Pennsylvania; Appleton, Wisconsin; and Des Moines, Iowa. The other routes are between Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida and Toledo, Ohio; Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Fort Wayne, Indiana; New Orleans and Punta Gorda, Florida; and Nashville, Tennessee and Gulf Shores, Alabama.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to connecting underserved communities with affordable, convenient travel options,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. “By adding Fort Myers and increasing service to multiple beach cities, we’re providing travelers nonstop access to sunny destinations, meaning they spend less time at the airport and more time on vacation.”
