Strategically positioned at the heart of the UAE’s aviation ecosystem, the new location reinforces AJW-ME’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the Middle East and enhancing support for customers and partners across the region.
The move comes as AJW-ME continues to expand its operations, capabilities and team, supporting increasing demand for integrated aviation solutions including spare parts trading, asset leasing, teardown management, and inventory optimisation.
Dubai South’s proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) and its position as a leading aviation and logistics hub provides an ideal environment for AJW-ME’s next phase of growth.
Last week it was revealed that all services at Dubai International Airport (DXB) will eventually move to Al Maktoum. Operations are expected to transition in 2032, once DXB reaches maximum capacity, in a move will see DWC eventually become the world’s largest-capacity airport, capable of accommodating 260 million passengers annually.
AWJ-ME’s relocation will further support operational efficiency, connectivity, and collaboration with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
The company’s CEO, Erlendur Svavarsson, said: “This move represents an exciting new chapter for AJW-ME. Our new headquarters positions us within one of the world’s most dynamic aviation centres and reflects our long-term commitment to the region, our customers, and our growing team.”
