The airline is already benefitting from Embraer’s Pool Programme for the remainder of its fleet, which, with the including of the impending E2s, will cover 78 aircraft. The programme offers component support to airlines, aiming to deliver savings in component repair and inventory holding costs, reduce warehousing needs, and operate within a framework of guaranteed performance levels.
“Expanding the Embraer component inventory agreement to cover our new Embraer E195-E2s will provide us with the security we need as we deploy the aircraft. It will help us achieve the maximum operational, commercial and economic benefits we expect to derive from the new additions to our fleet,” said Airlink CEO, de Villiers Engelbrecht.
“We are proud to support the E2 operations at Airlink, a flagship example of innovation and efficiency in regional aviation,” commented Carlos Naufel, President and CEO, Embraer Services & Support. “Embraer deeply values the trust Airlink has placed in our aircraft and services, and we remain dedicated to empowering their success with the most advanced solutions in the industry. This Pool Program agreement reflects our commitment to operational excellence and reinforces Embraer’s role in supporting Airlink’s growth strategy in the region.”
