Aircraft Propeller Service (APS) has successfully completed a teardown of an E195 aircraft. The 15-year-old aircraft was previously operated by Azul Brazilian Airlines and was torn down on 10 July. This marks the fourth teardown for the company’s teardown business unit since 2022.

The aircraft, acquired from lessor Nordic Aviation Capital on 5 July 2024, adds to the APS’s growing expertise in the airframe trading market. With the exception of the engines, all key line replaceable units (LRUs) were torn down.

APS has previously completed teardowns of an ATR 42-300, an E170, and an E190. Key components from these aircraft are still available for sale and provide much-needed stock for operators and maintenance facilities worldwide.

“The completion of our fourth aircraft teardown is a testament to APS’s commitment to expanding our offerings to the aviation community with high-quality parts and services,” said Chris Hutchings, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for APS. “Our team’s expertise and robust inventory ensures that we can provide our clients with the best solutions to keep their fleets in optimal condition.”
