Syensqo has signed a new long-term supply agreement with Airbus that will see the company continue providing a wide range of advanced composite materials for use across Airbus’s commercial aircraft, space and defence programmes, and helicopter platforms.

Under the contract, Syensqo will supply materials including prepregs, RTM resins, adhesives and primers, supporting Airbus’s production requirements as the OEM ramps up output across multiple segments.

Rodrigo Elizondo, president of Syensqo composite materials, said the agreement underscores the company’s long standing relationship with Airbus and reinforces Syensqo’s role as a key materials partner. He added that the renewed contract reflects Syensqo’s commitment to deepening both commercial and technical collaboration as aerospace manufacturing continues to scale.

Syensqo noted that the aerospace and defence sector is experiencing strong growth, driven by rising demand for advanced materials that support efficient manufacturing processes and higher production rates. With a global manufacturing footprint and extensive application development capabilities, the company said it is well positioned to support OEMs and Tier suppliers as market needs evolve.

Aerospace remains a core growth driver for Syensqo, with sustained demand in civil aviation expected to support volume expansion in its composite materials business throughout 2026.
