Airbus saw a 6% year-on-year increase in revenues in Q1 2025 to EUR 13.5 billion, together with a strong order intake across all divisions.

The company gained a total of 204 net orders in its commercial sector, up from 170 in Q1 2024, but only delivered 136 aircraft, slightly lower than the 142 delivered in Q1 2024, as its order backlog reached 8,726.

Revenues rose 4% to EUR 9.5 billion, mainly driven by favourable foreign exchange rates, partially offsetting the impact of fewer deliveries.

Airbus is maintaining its target to increase the A320 Family production rate to 75 aircraft per month by 2027.

Guillaume Faury, Airbus Chief Executive Officer, said: “Our Q1 results demonstrate the progress we are making on our priorities across the business. We are ramping up production in line with our plan, but the delivery profile will be backloaded, reflecting the specific supply chain challenges we are facing this year.”

Airbus said it is closely monitoring ongoing supply chain challenges and geopolitical uncertainties.
