Airbus has announced its monthly performance results showing an increase in deliveries over the same period of 2018. Over eight months this year the aircraft manufacturer has delivered 500 aircraft, 66 more than in 2018.
The 2019 deliveries are divided into the following categories: 400 single-aisle aircraft (207 units of the A320neo), 40 Airbus A330s (23 A330-900s), 65 Airbus A350 planes (52 of the A350-900 model) and five Airbus A380s.
During August manufacturer handed over 42 aircraft to 29 customers. Leading among the deliveries was the A320neo product line: 19 units out of 42.
In terms of orders, in the period of eight months Airbus secured 262 gross orders. However, considering all the cancellations (167 aircraft), the company has a total of 95 net orders as of 31 August.
