“We are glad to launch this collaboration with SwissAviation Software on implementing the AMOS solution at airBaltic,” said Andris Vaivads, SVP Technical Operations at airBaltic. “We at airBaltic are consistently working on a pragmatic yet ambitious business development strategy, and AMOS is one of the tools to drive future of technical operations.”
airBaltic selected AMOS to manage its fleet after a long consideration process. The airline finally chose the software for its alignment with its goals and its abilities to increase operational efficiency, improve data accuracy, and support further growth. The partnership should optimise the use of resources and maintenance management equally, and the transition to AMOS should take 18 months.
Vaivads added, “We are pleased with the quality of services currently being provided by SwissAviation Software and are optimistic with improved efficiencies and new business opportunities to be brought by the introduction of AMOS.”
The airline’s fleet currently consists of 48 Airbus A220-300 aircraft. However airBaltic has plans to expand to a single-type fleet of up to 100 A220-300s by 2030.
