Latvian hybrid airline airBaltic has released its traffic figures for November 2024, showing a 23% year-on-year increase. The carrier transported 400,600 passengers, the highest passenger count for November in the carrier’s history.

The airline also reported a load factor of 81.8%, an increase of 8.5% compared to the same period last year.

airBaltic’s CEO, Martin Gauss, linked the increase in passenger numbers to the airline’s network expansion, including nine new routes launched this winter and new codeshare partnerships.

“While demand traditionally declines during the winter season, we observed strong passenger numbers across all bases in November. Our focus remains on offering global connectivity from the region to destinations worldwide,” he said.

airBaltic operated 3,640 flights in November, a 5% increase compared to November 2023.
