airBaltic is expanding its network for the March-October 2026 summer season with six new routes, three returning routes, and increased frequency on around 30 routes.

Flying from Riga, the new destinations are Kaunas in Lithuania, Oulu in Finland, and Antalya in Turkey, while Tallinn’s new routes are Athens in Greece, Hamburg in Germany, and Vienna in Austria.

Meanwhile, the airline is reinstating its previous routes from Riga to Aberdeen in the United Kingdom, Belgrade in Serbia, and Yerevan in Armenia.

Within the 30 destinations that are to be increased in frequency, 20 are from Riga, two are from Tallinn, one is from Tampere, and six are from Vilnius, with the routes including Istanbul, Malaga, Malta, Nice, and Tbilisi.

The summer schedule marks a 7% increase across all airbaltic airports compared to the 2025 summer season, with nearly 110 routes to be operated.

“Each season, we carefully evaluate the travel needs of our passengers and the overall market dynamics in the region,” said Thomas Ramdahl, Chief Commercial Officer (Acting) at airBaltic. “The additions and increases we are making for summer 2026 reflect our long-term commitment to strengthening connectivity of Latvia and overall Baltic States with the rest of the world. By offering more destinations and increased frequencies, we aim to provide travellers with greater convenience, flexibility, and choice, while further supporting tourism, business, and economic development in Latvia and the entire region, and strengthening ties with Europe and beyond.”
