Latvian flag carrier airBaltic has expanded its winter 2024 schedule, adding twice-weekly flights from Vilnius to Dusseldorf, Germany, and Oslo Torp, Norway.

“We are dedicated to continuing our growth in Vilnius,” said Thomas Ramdahl, SVP of Network Management at airBaltic. “The new destinations to Dusseldorf and Oslo Torp will cater to a variety of our customers’ travel needs.”

airBaltic now operates 14 direct routes from Vilnius. The airline also recently announced plans to launch seven new destinations from Vilnius for the summer 2025 season.

The airline, a joint stock company established in 1995, operates over 130 routes from its Baltic hubs in Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius and Tampere, offering connections to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.

In September, the carrier exercised options for 10 more A220s, bringing its total outstanding order of the Airbus aircraft to 90.
