Air Astana is to start direct flights between Atyrau, in western Kazakhstan, and Tbilisi, Georgia.
The new service will commence on May 27 and operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Round-trip fares, inclusive of taxes and fees, start from USD 213 in Economy Class and USD 587 in Business Class. Tickets are available on the airline’s website and through authorized travel agencies.
This new route increases Air Astana’s summer schedule frequency to Tbilisi to 15 weekly flights, including nine flights per week from Almaty and three weekly flights each from Astana and Atyrau.
The Atyrau to Tbilisi route complements Air Astana’s existing international services from Atyrau to Istanbul, Dubai, and Amsterdam.
The airline continues to expand international connectivity from regional cities in Kazakhstan, including scheduled flights from Shymkent to Jeddah and Medina, and charter flights to Doha.
