Air Astana Group, consisting of Air Astana and low-fare carrier FlyArystan, has released its winter flight schedule, offering increased route options to the Middle East and Asia.
The Kazakhstan company’s new schedules see an increase in services to Dubai from both the capital, Astana, and the country’s largest city, Almaty. Travellers can also now fly directly from Atyrau, on the Caspian Sea.
New flight options are available from Almaty and Astana to Abu Dhabi. To Saudi Arabia, Air Astana has added new flights from Almaty to Medina and from Shymkent, in the south of the country, to both Jeddah and Medina.
The airline has introduced a new route from Astana to Phuket, Thailand, and increased service from Almaty to both Phuket and Bangkok. A new route from Almaty to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, provides another option for travellers. Air Astana has also resumed seasonal flights to the Maldives.
In other updates, flights from Astana to Urumqi, China, have resumed, and the service between Astana and Seoul, South Korea, has increased.
Air Astana will continue to operate flights from Astana to Frankfurt, Almaty to London, and Amsterdam to Atyrau. Regional routes to destinations such as Delhi, Tashkent, Bishkek, Tbilisi, Baku, and Dushanbe will also be maintained.
In total, Air Astana Group will operate 40 international and 13 domestic routes throughout the winter season.
The company operates a fleet of 56 aircraft across Air Astana and FlyArystan, consisting of Airbus A320ceo and A320neo families, A321LRs, Boeing 767-300ERs and Embraer E190-E2s.
It is planning to expand its fleet to 80 aircraft by the end of 2028, primarily with Airbus models.
