Startup airline and Italy’s newest low-fare carrier, Aeroitalia, has partnered with WorldTicket, part of the 777 Travel Tech group, to help support its rapidly expanding network.

WorldTicket’s travel distribution technology will work to help the low-fare airline to extend its sales reach to indirect channels, such as OTAs and travel agencies, as the demand for travel in Europe accelerates.

Aeroitalia is targeting unserved and underserved markets by existing low-fare carriers, and the implementation of WorldTicket’s solutions means it can launch operations quickly and cost-efficiently.

Peer Winter, VP of Commercial Business Development at 777 Travel Tech, said, “Our mission is to empower airlines to grow their business while giving customers more options for a better travel experience, and our partnership with Aeroitalia captures that aim perfectly.”

“Multichannel distribution is an important development as it goes hand-in-hand with our network expansion plans for summer 2023,” said Krassimir Tanev, Chief Commercial Officer of Aeroitalia.

“Our marketing partnership with WorldTicket and its global distribution technology means Aeroitalia services are now closer to the travel agency community to the benefit of our customers,” he added.
