The Cork to Glasgow service will begin on 27 October and operate four times weekly. It will offer over 30,000 seats and improve regional travel for both tourists and commuters.
“We are delighted to be expanding our network from Cork Airport with the introduction of our new Glasgow service,” said Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines. “We are equally pleased to announce the increase in flights between Cork and Bristol. These enhancements underscore our commitment to providing our customers with more travel options and greater convenience.”
He added: “By expanding our offerings from Cork, we aim to meet the growing customer demand and ensure our passengers have even more opportunities when travelling from Cork Airport.”
The increased capacity of the Cork to Bristol service will add an additional 20,000 seats to the route to meet increased passenger demand. Aer Lingus Regional currently operates a fleet of 18 ATR 72-600 aircraft.
